Hello! I'm Lindsay, an interpretive park ranger for the National Park Service. Welcome to my blog!

I grew up in a large, rust-belt city where I learned to identify American hot rods and midcentury architects' work. I moved to the prairie to foster my love for art and nature. The prairie was good to me; it's where I earned two university degrees and found my dream job.

I lived in the Pacific Northwest for a brief period of time. From my driveway I could see the Olympic Mountains and the Puget Sound. I miss it all the time.

I now work at an amazing park in the Southeast US. It's full of beautiful huge old trees.

I'm ready for my next adventure!

I GOT A JOB!

Hello, friends! I am VERY happy to announce that I have accepted a permanent Park Ranger position at Congaree National Park outside of Columbia, South Carolina. If everything goes well, I will be moving next month. Check out this website to learn more about my future park! (IT’S AWESOME.)
