I had the wonderful pleasure to visit the National Monument dedicated to his life and legacy last fall. It was such a beautiful place; the leaves were changing colors and it seemed that we had the whole place to ourselves.
Mr. Carver’s intimate relationship with the natural world was incredibly inspiring and thought provoking. His life’s work was perfectly related at the NM. Both my partner and I left with such a sense of peace. I hope to visit again soon.
