Hey, what park do you work in currently? I just graduated from an NPS law enforcement academy in Ohio but I’m thinking of sticking with conventional law enforcement instead of the NPS just because I can’t seem to find any decent job opportunities on USAjobs.

Hello! I'm Lindsay, an interpretive park ranger for the National Park Service. Welcome to my blog!

I grew up in a large, rust-belt city where I learned to identify American hot rods and midcentury architects' work. I moved to the prairie to foster my love for art and nature. The prairie was good to me; it's where I earned two university degrees and found my dream job.

I lived in the Pacific Northwest for a brief period of time. From my driveway I could see the Olympic Mountains and the Puget Sound. I miss it all the time.

I now work at an amazing park in the Southeast US. It's full of beautiful huge old trees.

I'm ready for my next adventure!

Hey there! I’m currently working at the Oklahoma City National Memorial. However, I am not a law enforcement ranger, I’m an interpretive ranger. There are quite a few LE positions open on USAJobs currently, so you might want to check those out. Good luck finding a position! Thanks for submitting a question!
